Are you looking for a simple, effective way to increase your vehicle’s performance and longevity? All you need is this simple service that could make all the difference-replacing the filters in your vehicle. There are four primary filters in your vehicle that need to be replaced regularly, and they are the Air, Fuel, Oil, and Cabin filters. Some of these filters are harder to access than others, which is why we recommend bringing your vehicle into our shop and letting one of our technicians help you.
Engine Air Filter
This is the filter that usually sits in the front of your vehicle under the hood. The engine air filter’s job is to keep water, bugs, dirt, or rocks from getting into the engine. Your engine needs fresh, clean air to run efficiently. If your engine air filter gets clogged, it will limit airflow and reduce engine performance.
Fuel Filter
The fuel filter’s job is to ensure the contaminants that are naturally found in the gas we put in our cars do not make it to the engine. If clogged, the fuel filter will limit the fuel sent to the engine, which could lead to misfires, lack of performance, or even engine damage. This filter is often overlooked due to its inconvenient location. No need to worry. Our trained staff knows just where to look to help keep this filter maintained.
Oil Filter
Fresh engine oil should be an amber color and very thin consistency, almost like water. Over time the oil will become dirty and turn into more of a brownish color aswell as becoming more like syrup in consistency. This can lead to the engine overheating or possibly seizing up. The oil filter is recommended to be changed every other oil change.
Cabin Air Filter
The cabin air filter’s main job is to ensure water, bugs, and dirt do not enter our lungs while driving. When you turn on the AC, that air is filtered through the cabin air filter. If your cabin filter is clogged, you will notice unusual odors, poor airflow, fogged windows, or increased fan noise. Get it replaced by our team today and keep the air you breathe clean and fresh.
